Building upon the original campaign by Professor Frank Trentmann and others, outlined below, History can provide an update on the response to the open letter from The House of Lords Justice and Home Affairs Committee.

Original Campaign Notes: 2019

This summer, History was delighted to host an open letter to the Home Office that called for an urgent review of historical claims made within the UK Immigration ‘Life in the UK’ Test. This letter has now been signed by over 600 academics from institutions across the UK, and has received media attention from across the globe.
